Mississauga – August 10, 2009
ACTA and Softvoyage announced today an agreement to share resources and customer demographics to achieve an improved understanding of how travel agencies can better use the services provided by both partners.
"ACTA will use SIREV as a communication vehicle to distribute information to the travel industry. Softvoyage has innovative and proven IT solutions for the distribution of vital information to the travel industry in a timely manner. Their products have been in place since 1987 and have enabled the management and the distribution of travel services for hundreds of North American travel agencies, tour operators and consolidators, and other travel suppliers." said David McCaig, President and COO of ACTA.
Dan Langevin, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing for Softvoyage, said customers will ultimately be the biggest beneficiaries of the agreement. "Both companies share a common focus to provide agents with market-leading, innovative products and services. Our daily goal is to create simple yet effective tools to ease the complicated daily work of Travel Agents." Langevin continued. "By using SIREV as an information conduit, ACTA can communicate instantly with thousands of Travel Agents across Canada.
